We started NexGuard because running a Discord server meant juggling a moderation bot, a ticket bot, a music bot and a leveling bot, each with its own dashboard and its own bad days. So we built one bot that does all of it, and does it properly.
We are a team of three, and this is where our time goes: new modules, fixes, and the small things nobody asks for, like a DM before every punishment, or an audio filter that changes without restarting the song. Everything we ship is written down in the devlog.
NexGuard runs on our own server in Germany, not on a free host that falls asleep. A watchdog checks it every two minutes and repairs what it can on its own.

Not a borrowed library: we wrote our own client for YouTube and YouTube Music. Links play exactly what they point to, playlists load completely, and a built-in stream relay keeps songs playing when YouTube changes the rules. SoundCloud links work too.

Every two minutes it checks lag, shards, background tasks and the database, restarts what died and clears settings that point at deleted channels.
Changed modules reload inside the running bot, so fixes go live without taking NexGuard or your music offline.
An update reaches every bot one after the other, each only once the previous one is back. Reconnects go shard by shard, never all at once.
Look-alike letters, leetspeak, zero-width characters and s p a c e d words are folded back before matching. Edited messages are checked again.
Known scam images, like the fake MrBeast giveaways, are recognised by a 256-bit perceptual hash, even when they are cropped.
Mass bans and channel wipes are traced to the account behind them. It loses its roles or gets banned, and your admins are alerted.
Every warning, timeout and ban gets a case number per server, and the member gets a DM with the reason before the punishment lands.
Premium runs a separate NexGuard under your own token, name and avatar, watched and restarted by the same watchdog.
Every action lands in the log channel you pick: edits with before and after, deletions with their attachments, music requests too.
Everything a well-run server needs is free. Premium adds the heavier tools and is paid by the server owner.
